Trump halts childcare funding nationwide

Happy New Year…Trump just stopped child care funding for the entire country based on an already, years long, ongoing investigation that just recently went viral.
At first, I was against this kind of knee jerk, blanketed policy because instead of investigating isolated instances when allegations are alleged, it violates due process because it presumes everyone is guilty; which means that those who need the child care help won’t get it. I thought that was kind of stupid and unconditional.
But then I thought of other applications for such a policy. What if we arrest every billionaire and person of power until they prove they had nothing to do with Jeffery Epstien case. Now it’s not such of dumb idea after all.
This kind of governance is going to continue until our elected officials do something to help protect us.
